EDYA1929 is a sustainable fashion label that breathes new life into vintage kimonos through the artistry of Yumi Sakamoto. 

After working for major fashion brand in Tokyo Japan, Yumi decided to create her own label when she made a radical change in her life.

Leaving behind the mother land Japan, She started the journey to find the home for abandoned kimono, with the mission to celebrate the women who inspire her. 

EDYA1929 stands as a beacon of empowerment for women — a source of newfound strength while navigating the challenges of life and a reflection of their beauty as resilient spirits.
